In honor of the 10th anniversary of IDAS (International Doctoral Program in Asia Pacific Studies), we would like to invite you to participate the upcoming international conference that will soon begin from 23rd to 24th November.

This conference examines new political, economic, social, and international systems and processes that are being put in place in Asia-Pacific in response to global and regional challenges. Asia has been a cradle of cultures and civilisations since the early historical periods. With its vibrant and diverse cultures, the rise of Asian economic powerhouses, and the new waves of modern culture, Asia has become the focal point of much recent scholarly study. This conference, therefore, highlights five critical and common issues of Asian countries for a thorough examination. They include:

  1. Democracy and Governance Innovation
  2. Regional Economic Integration
  3. Social and Cultural Flows
  4. Globalization and Civil Society
  5. Regional Powers and Security
