The purpose of this course is to train students with different career plan (both academic and practical) about how to manage public affairs with a package of the analytical concept, methodological skills, and communicative abilities that are required to get the job done.
This course is composed of three parts. First, an introduction (including definition, ethics, & different theories) of policy analysis will be discussed. Second, a conceptual framework of “market-and-government failure” is presented and applied into real world cases. Lastly, tools of policy analysis will be taught for students to do real-world policy analysis.
